Megan graduated from The University at Albany in 2009. During her time at the university she spent a semester abroad studying at the Instituto Internacional in Madrid, Spain and spent a month volunteering to teach English in Quito, Ecuador. She continued to study at The University at Albany and graduated with a Master’s in Spanish Linguistics, focusing on language acquisition in 2010. At this point she decided to pursue a career in Education and attended The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY to earn a Master’s in Education in 2011. After graduating she began working as a Spanish teacher at Mineola High School and then took a job at South Seneca Middle School in 2014. In 2017 she relocated to Wilmington, NC and began working at Dixon High School in Holly Ridge, NC. There she teaches introductory Spanish I and II, as well as Honors Spanish III and IV.
